How to Draw a Macaw Parrot?

Kids, learn how to draw the Macaw-parrot by following the steps below.

Step:1

Draw a fish fin shaped curve at the centre of the paper.

Step:2

Join the bottom edge of this curve with zig zag lines which indicates one of the wings of the macaw parrot.

Step:3

Leave some space and draw another wing adjacent to the other wing as shown.

Step:4

On the left side of the above wing, draw a curve line showing the lower outline of the body of the bird.

Step:5

On the top of the small wing draw an inverted "cactus fruit" shaped curve to indicate the head and beak of the bird.

Step:6

Draw two black dots on the top portion within the head indicating the nostrils on the beak.

Step:7

On the top of the head portion draw the "comb" or known as the "mane" of the macaw parrot.

Step:8

Just beside the beak of the parrot draw an eye of the parrot as shown in the picture.

Step:9

Just beneath the right wing of the bird and the end of the body portion of the bird draw the tail of the bird projecting downwards as shown.

Step:10

Complete the tail using zig zag lines which indicate the feathers in the tail.

Step:11

Draw one of its legs with nails as shown.

Step:12

Draw the other limb just adjacent to the earlier one. Now you have completed Macaw parrot drawing.
